Red, White & Blueberry For 4th Of July!

 

With berries and stone fruits now in season, fresh, fruity cocktails are perfect for a warm summer day. For 4th of July, red raspberries, white peaches and blueberries make for a perfectly patriotic trio of cocktails sure to please. Here, we present three fruit purée-based drinks, courtesy of Navan Natural Vanilla Liqueur, that are a little bit different—and a lot of fun! Serve guests a display of three pitchers of the colorful concoctions. Partygoers can choose their favorite flavor or try a mix.

On the menu:

 

Red

 

Ingredients

  • Raspberry purée
  • Vanilla liqueur

Preparation

  1. To make the purée, blend raspberries until smooth.
  2. To sweeten, add sugar to taste. Strain out the seeds.
  3. To make cocktail, mix equal parts raspberry purée and vanilla liqueur.


White

 

Ingredients

  • White peach purée
  • Vanilla liqueur

Preparation

  1. To make the purée, first peel white peaches.
  2. Cut each peach in half and remove the stone.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. To make cocktail, mix equal parts peach purée and vanilla liqueur.


Blue

 

Ingredients

  • Blueberry purée
  • Vanilla liqueur

Preparation

  1. To make the purée, blend blueberries until smooth.
  2. Strain out the seeds.
  3. To make cocktail, mix equal parts blueberry purée and vanilla liqueur.
