Saké Cocktail Recipes

Mix These Saké Cocktails And Lift Your Glass: Kanpai!

 

Saké is delicious drunk straight, like wine, but it also makes delicious cocktails, as these recipes prove.

Electric Lemonade

  • Mix 1-1⁄2 ounces Momokawa Silver Saké with lemonade.
  • Add a splash of 7-Up and pour over ice. 
  • Garnish with a slice of lemon.

String of Pearls

  • Mix 2 parts Momokawa Pearl Saké, 1 part Vodka.
  • Add a pearl onion.

Saké Sunrise

  • Mix 1-1⁄2 ounces of Momokawa Ruby Saké with orange juice.
  • Add a splash of 7-Up and pour over ice. 
  • Slowly pour grenadine over the top. 

Pearl Colada

  • Use Momokawa Pearl Saké instead of rum.
  • Mix with Coco Lopez and pineapple juice, according to directions on can.

Banzai Tea

  • Mix 5 ounces of Momokawa Ruby Saké with a splash of Grand Marnier, a splash of sweet and sour, and a splash of Coke. 

Saké Latté

  • Mix 2 ounces of Momokawa Pearl saké with 2 ounces of coffee liqueur. 
  • Serve on the rocks. 

Cherry Blossom

  • Mix 2 ounces of Momokawa Ruby saké with a splash of grenadine. 
  • Garnish with a lime wedge. 
  • Serve in a wine glass with the rim salted. 

Sakétini

  • Mix 2 ounces of Momokawa Silver saké with 1 ounces vodka or gin.

Scarlet Begonia

  • Mix 2 ounces of Momokawa Diamond saké with 1 ounce apple-cranberry juice and some lime juice 
  • Serve on the rocks with a slice of lime. 

Saké Screwdriver

  • Mix 2 ounces of Momokawa Diamond saké with ice.
  • Fill with orange juice.

Proud Mary

  • Mix 3 ounces Momokawa Silver saké with 4 ounces of tomato juice.
  • Add 2 drops Tabasco sauce, 3 drops Worcestershire sauce, a squeeze of lime, salt and pepper to taste. 
  • Garnish with Spanish olives and celery stalk.

Purple Haze

  • Mix 2 ounces Moonstone Raspberry saké with 4 ounces of cranberry juice and a splash of Chambord.
     

Silver Sunset

  • Mix 5 ounces of Momokawa Silver with 1/2 ounce of mandarin syrup.
  • Shake with ice and pour into a martini glass.  Garnish with a strawberry.
     

Ruby Sunrise

  • Mix 1.5 ounces of Momokawa Ruby Sake with 3 ounces of orange juice and a splash of 7-Up. 
  • Pour over ice.  Top with grenadine.
  • Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry. 


Chocolate Dream

  • Mix 5 ounces of Momokawa Pearl Sake with 1/2 ounce of chocolate syrup. 
  • Shake with ice and pour into a martini glass.  Garnish with a chocolate stick. 
  • Optional: Moisten rim of martini glass and dip into cocoa powder.

Mellow Melon

  • Mix 3 ounces of Moonstone Asian Pear Sake with 1 ounce melon syrup and 1 ounce of orange juice. 
  • Shake with ice and pour into a martini glass. 
  • Garnish with melon or kiwi.

Orange Creamsicle

  • Muddle two sugar cubes with fresh orange juice.  Mix with 3 ounces Momokawa Pearl Sake and 1 ounce cream. 
  • Shake with ice and pour into a martini glass. 
  • Garnish with an orange slice. 

Plum Soda

  • Pour Moonstone Plum Sake over ice in highball glass. 
  • Add club soda. 
  • Garnish with a maraschino cherry.

Fuzzy Peach

  • Mix 3 ounces of Moonstone Peach Sake with 4 ounces of fresh squeezed orange juice. 
  • Garnish with an orange or peach slice.

Pineapple Pearl

  • Mix 4 ounces of Momokawa Pearl Sake with 2 ounces of pineapple juice and 1/2 ounce vanilla syrup. 
  • Shake with ice, and pour into a martini glass. 
  • Garnish with a pineapple slice.
