Real Ginger Rogers

Elderflower liqueur and basil leaves give this cocktail an especially sophisticated flavor, an appropriate hommage to its namesake. Created by Alex Straus of Suite 700 at the Hotel Shangri-La in Los Angeles. We hope Ginger Rogers was able to try elderflower liqueur. We know she’d have loved it as much as we do.

Ingredients Per Cocktail

  • 1-1/2 ounces ginger vodka

  • 3/4 ounce apple juice

  • 1/4 ounce lemon juice

  • 1/4 ounce elderflower liqueur

  • 5 basil leaves

  • Club soda

  • Ice

Preparation

  1. Muddle basil leaves in a cocktail shaker.

  2. Add rest of the ingredients with the exception of the club soda with ice and shake vigorously.
