Curves Apple Streusel Chewy Granola Bars

“Naturally flavored.” First ingredient: chicory root extract. Pleasant cinnamon aroma; bars are drizzled with “icing” on top. Bar is slightly sticky to the touch. Light textured. Initial slight sweetness quickly overpowered by a massive rush of apple flavor, possibly from the dried apples that are one ingredient. Per bar (25g): 100 calories, 10 calories from fat, no saturated fat, no cholesterol, 75mg sodium, 5g fiber, 7g sugars, 1g protein.

  • Chocolate Cherry Granola Bar. First ingredient: organic rolled oats. Chewy, grainy. Chocolate chips and small bits of dried cherries are visible atop the bar. Not enough dried cherries and an odd, salty aftertaste.
  • Dried Cherry. First ingredient: organic rolled oats. Chewy, grainy. A little salty, but not too bad. Not enough dried cherries.
  • Peanut Butter & Chocolate Granola Bar. First ingredient: rolled oats. Crisp, crunchy, with a definite peanut butter flavor. Chocolate chips on top of bar. Occasional pockets of honey flavor in bar, but not too sweet. Very dry.
  • Peanut Butter & Honey. First ingredient: organic rolled oats. More crisp than crunchy; light-textured. Fine peanut butter presence with a little salty sweetness at the end. Recommended.
