Serving Suggestions

With little to no fishy odor, these sardines are easy to eat anywhere and at any time of the day, from brunch to dinner, and as a ready (and portable) snack, straight out of the tin. We enjoyed them:

For Breakfast

• With scrambled eggs
• On a smoked fish platter

For Lunch

• On a bed of lettuce, spinach or mixed greens
• In a salade Niçoise, substituting the sardines for tuna
• On a crusty roll or baguette, with lettuce, tomato and aïoli dressing

For A First Course, Hors D’Oeuvre Or Snack On toast points, with a dab of Lemonaise (lemon mayonnaise), crème fraîche or sour cream with chives On an antipasto platter For Dinner Tossed with pasta and pesto Added to a stir-fry Flaked into fried rice On pizza
