Easy Peanut Butter-Chocolate Fudge Recipe
So Easy, You’ll Be Tempted To Make Fudge Too Often

While you can read the history of fudge—it wasn’t so easy to make in the beginning.
Then, a better technique was discovered: Use sweetened, condensed milk instead of cream.

This is a chocolate peanut butter fudge recipe.
  - For extra peanutty fudge and a crunchy texture, stir in chopped peanuts.

  - For an all-peanut butter fudge, use peanut butter chips.

The yield is 64 pieces, or 1-1/4 pounds of fudge.

Ingredients
  - For pan: butter or cooking spray

  - 1 bag (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips*

  - 1 jar (12 ounces) crunchy peanut butter

  - 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk

  - Optional: 1/2 cup roasted or honey roasted peanuts, roughly chopped

Preparation
  - LIGHTLY BATTER an 8 x 8-inch pan, or sprayed with cooking spray.

  -

MELT the chocolate in the top of a double boiler over hot (not boiling) water. You also can melt it in a microwave, stirring at 30-second intervals.

  -

IMMEDIATELY ADD the peanut butter and the sweetened condensed milk, stirring well until completely mixed. Stir in the chopped peanuts.

  - POUR the mixture into the pan. Refrigerate to chill. When firm...

  - CUT into 1-inch pieces.  Store in an airtight container.
