Seasonal Gourmet Brownie Flavors
As if the signature flavors weren’t satisfying enough, each season Mari tempts us with more flavors. For the holidays, there are two:
Cranberry Cognac
Another seasonal flavor, Cranberry Cognac offers a more subtle fruit note than Cherry Bomb. De facto, the cranberry is less sweet, but the result is equally charming.
Sugar And Spice
This pretty brownie looks like it’s been sprinkled with magic fairy dust (but it’s sanding sugar*). This light and elegant brownie, flavored with gingerbread spice, is a favorite.
*Sanding sugar is granulated sugar processed to have larger granules that sparkle. The large surface area of the granule also makes the sugar appear less sweet (like rock sugar). See the different types of sugar.
Cherry Bomb
We also had the opportunity to taste summer’s special flavor. If you didn’t get your fill of lush summer cherries, this cherry brownie is the bomb. The cherries are soaked in cognac; sweet, red cherry flavor bursts forth, to excellent effect.

In addition to these seasonal flavors, there are others that cure the winter doldrums, celebrate Valentine’s Day and welcome spring (as if one needed an excuse to place an order).
Our idea of a great evening of fun is splitting brownies in half with a particularly deserving special friend or dividing them into quarters to share with the family. Or if one must give them away, Mari’s New York Brownies are perfect for just about any occasion, and will be devoured in a New York minute.
