Delicious things come in small packages...and at small prices, too. Here, we present a selection of savory gourmet gifts, all with single-digit price tags (in addition to double-digit price tags for sampler packs and holiday gifts sets). And we have even more ideas: Check out our Sweet Gourmet Stocking Stuffers, our other 2010 Holiday Gift Lists and prior year’s stocking stuffers. Products are presented in alphabetical order.

Products are listed in alphabetical order. Prices and product availability are verified at publication but are subject to change. These items are offered by a third party and THE NIBBLE has no relationship with them.

Afar Salt:
Sea Salt Pearls

Here’s a pretty and unique gift: small and large “pearls” of sea salt. The pearls are produced by Mother Nature herself, through the heat and winds blowing across the saltiest body of water on earth: Lake Assal in the Republic of Djibouti, located in the horn of Africa, where the Red Sea meets the Gulf of Aden. The natural salt pearls range from .04 inches to 1 inch in diameter and are packaged in a homey burlap bag. See our Salt Glossary for all the different types of salt.

  • Finest, Petite, Perfect & Colossal Sea Salt Pearls
    4-Ounce, 8-Ounce and 16-Ounce

Bacon Hot Sauce:
Bacon-Flavored Hot Sauce (Vegan)

When we first set eyes on this bottle of hot sauce, we thought, “Hope this is good, because we’d love a Bacon Bloody Mary. We’re not a major user of hot sauce, but found ourself shaking this fun and tasty product on burgers, chicken, eggs (the “new bacon and eggs”), fries, pizza, wings—the works. And of course, the Bacon Bloody Mary is a delight. The product is vegan and made with natural flavors, but it would fool any bacon lover. There’s a matching tee shirt if you want to make it a more elaborate gift.

Don Francisco:

Breakfast Blend Coffee

We taste a lot of coffee at THE NIBBLE. The one everyone we unanimously raved about is this Breakfast Blend from Don Francisco’s. Although it’s classified as a bold roast, the NIBBLE folks who generally prefer a more moderate roast were as happy with it as the French roast crew. Don Francisco’s Breakfast Blend promises to wake you up with its hearty aroma and flavor. Don Francisco is a brand of Gaviña Gourmet Coffees—and one of our favorite coffee brands in general. Brush up on your coffee knowledge with our Coffee Glossary.

Dulcet:

Moroccan Mustard

We love flavored mustard, which add exciting tastes without a minimum of calories (no more than 10 calories/teaspoon, except for honey mustard). One of the most interesting new mustards we’ve tasted this year is Dulcet’s Moroccan Mustard. Organic Dijon mustard is blended with Moroccan spices to create something exotic and special. Spread it on your favorite sandwich or as a glaze on lamb or pork (add before roasting). Serve it as a condiment with fish, meat and poultry. See all the different types of mustard in our Mustard Glossary.

  • Moroccan Mustard
    198g Jar (7 Ounces)
    $7.95

Nudo:
Mandarin Olive Oil

Nudo makes olive oil the old-fashioned way. One cute stocking stuffer is a can of their infused olive oil, made in Basil, Chillie, Garlic, Lemon, Mandarin and Thyme. Within hours of being picked, fruits and herbs are stone-milled together with fresh-picked, late harvest olives (which which have a subtler flavor than early harvest olives, allowing the infused flavor to burst through). Note that many flavored oils are produced by adding an extract to the olive oil. With Nudo’s artisan process, the flavor is deep and fresh—or as the company says, “truly joined at the pip.” By the way, “nudo” means bare in Italian, as in “the bare olive,” the real deal. Learn all about olives and olive oil in our Olive Glossary.
